The Illinois Baptist State Association was founded in 1907.

 

The IBSA is an association of devoted individuals from Illinois Southern Baptist churches working together to achieve common goals.

 

The purpose of IBSA is to assist in establishing and developing effective churches in their context.  There are nearly 1,000 churches and missions affiliated with the IBSA today.
